Hi, I’m Katrina
I was raised in the trades, where working with your hands wasn’t just a job — it was a way of life. My dad was a blue-collar worker and a master of drywall. Growing up around job sites, tools, and real-world problem-solving shaped how I view building and creating today.
That foundation followed me into adulthood and into a life surrounded by design and construction. My husband is a high-end builder and home designer, and being immersed in that world has deepened my appreciation for craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and how all the details come together. It’s a constant source of inspiration and learning.
I’m a maker, DIYer, and content creator who loves building things, learning through doing, and sharing the real process — not just the polished results. From woodworking projects and home DIYs to shop builds and creative experiments, I approach every project with curiosity and a willingness to figure things out as I go.
Travel and adventure are also a big part of my creative life. Exploring new places, meeting other makers, and stepping outside my comfort zone often spark new ideas and influence the way I build and create. Sometimes inspiration comes from a planned project, and sometimes it comes from an unexpected adventure.
This space is where I document it all — the projects, the travel, the lessons, and the mistakes. I believe you don’t have to be an expert to start, and that the best way to learn is simply to begin.
I’m really glad you’re here.
